will honor the sacrifices and contributions of these last surviving veterans on a two-hour radio broadcast scheduled for national distribution on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2006 on National Public Radio affiliate stations, the Armed Forces Radio Network and community radio stations across the U.S.

Hosted by award winning CBS journalist Walter Cronkite, the program examines the role of the U.S. in WWI, drawing on the reminiscences, stories and humor of those who served both on the battle lines and on the homefront.
